About us
The Heavy Frames studio was founded by Marin Milardović and Ivan Banovac as a result of years of experience in filmmaking, post production, and high end visual effects. Their goal was clear, to create a studio where world class visual quality meets a focused and efficient pipeline.
As Co-Founder and Project Manager, Marin brings structure, planning, and clarity to the creative process ensuring that every project is guided with precision and delivered with consistency. As Co-Founder and VFX Supervisor, Ivan brings over a decade of industry experience, including contributions to major Hollywood productions such as Godzilla vs. Kong, The Batman, The Flash, House of the Dragon, Aquaman and many more. That experience helped shape the foundation of the studio and continues to define its visual standards and effective pipeline.
Together, they built The Heavy Frames studio to bridge creativity and execution combining cinematic thinking, technical expertise, and a workflow designed for reliable, high end results. From concept and 3D modeling to simulations, compositing, color grading, and final delivery, the studio approaches every frame with care, discipline, and purpose.
